Also known as bearberry, Kinnikinnick is a low growing, spreading evergreen groundcover with a moderate growth rate. It has white-light pink bell-shaped flowers that are followed by red berries that last into winter. It prefers full sun and moist to dry soils. It is a good choice for erosion control and provides food for birds and small animals. Berries are edible and the plant has interesting historical uses. Max growth 6' tall.
