Our Forestry Department is committed to increasing the urban tree canopy in low-income neighborhoods in Spokane County. Your donation will directly impact our capacity to donate tree seedlings to local schools, churches, and other organizations reliant on public property planting projects.
Improving a community’s urban tree canopy has numerous benefits, including climate change mitigation, urban pollutant filtration, and increasing property values.
Spokane Conservation District is a state-like not-for-profit agency that relies on grants, sponsorships, advertising, donations, and money raised from fundraising events for its funding to support our educational, environmental, and conservation programs.
